I got you, mama
This is for the mamas. For the mamas who are always taking photos of their kids, but never in them (like me). For mamas who just want more photos of themselves with their children. For adult children who would love a portrait with their own mother.
I want to celebrate you and meet you where you are now. For all stages: the baby squish snuggles you never want to forget, and the teen awkwardness where it seems you have to force your kid to stand next to you. It’s all important and worthy of documentation. Photos that will help you remember how it felt to mother each stage, and more importantly help your children remember you as you were.

My goal is to create a relaxed environment where you and your children feel comfortable. I do this by being laid back and giving children space to warm up and be themselves.
As a creative collaborator with my clients, I strive to photograph you and your children as you are in this season of life. We are not going for perfect or posed, we are going for honest and beautiful. If that includes you consoling a crying toddler, all the better in my book. You’ll want to remember that too, someday!
Not comfortable in front of the camera? Me neither! You can trust that I will guide you with gentle prompts to bring out your best and tell your story with beauty.

Wear what you feel beautiful in, and most importantly, what you feel most like yourself in. This can be jeans and a t-shirt to a dress or long skirt. The important thing is that you like the way you look, and when you look back on these photographs they feel authentic to who you are.
We aren’t going for perfect. I don’t recommend super matchy-matchy. If your child is going through a phase where she insists on wearing a tutu and a cape all day, then PLEASE let her wear that.
Choose your outfit first and your children’s from there. I recommend solids or subtle patterns, and I always love small stripes and floral patterns. A natural color palette always works great: think denim, light pink or lavender, ocher, rust, yellow, turquoise or forest green. Pop of red. Avoid neon, dressing everyone in all black or white, and anything super graphic or with words on the clothes. You can always email or text me with questions and I’m happy to help you choose outfits in advance.

One backdrop will be a cream colored canvas cloth backdrop, and the other will be a painted backdrop in a cheerful color TBD. You may choose to use one or both during your session. These will be located outside in my front yard.

You will receive 10-15 of the best photos, chosen by me, within 2-3 weeks of your session date via private online gallery. You will receive high resolution digital files, with full print rights. From your gallery you will have the option to purchase prints, but this is not required.

Your deposit is non-refundable but you may cancel without a refund if you wish.
Rescheduling is possible if there is another open time that works for you! I understand things come up.
If someone is sick, I will work with you to reschedule for another time. I do not wish to photograph anyone who is not feeling well.
In the case of rain, I will reschedule to another weekend date of my choice.

I will watch the weather closely, and reschedule if it rains. Last year it sprinkled a bit, and I rescheduled just one session.
